*The View*'s latest guest has taken a lot of time to enjoy her view of numerous on-air fights the talk show has had over the years.

Comedian Zarna Garg visited the daytime series Friday for a lively interview, which kicked off as longtime panelist — and original cohost — Joy Behar asked Garg about one of her fans.

"One of the OGs, Meredith!" Garg replied, referencing Behar's fellow original panelist Meredith Vieira, who joined Behar at the first-ever Hot Topics table in 1997. "She was [at my comedy show] with her whole book club. Yeah, but I only did pictures with four, because it's a lot of money otherwise!"

Garg, whom has been a guest on the show in the past, then reminisced on her connection to *The View*, which she said she's been watching for nearly three decades.

"When I first came to America 30 years ago, I remember the day *The View* was launched!" Garg told the cohosts. "I remember Barbara Walters, I remember turning it on and being so excited and following it, all the ups and downs. A lot of downs, also!"

The cohosts laughed as Garg continued, excitedly pointing out "all the fights" she's witnessed in the past. "Yeah, tell us about it," Ana Navarro said. "Plenty," added Behar "We remember," said Sunny Hostin, widening her eyes for comedic effect.

Garg finished, bringing the sentiment full circle as she exclaimed, "I mean, and I'm still watching every day. And now, here I am!"

Garg's words recall several headline-making clashes that have unfolded at the Hot Topics table over the years. Perhaps the most famous occurred between former cohosts Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck in May 2007, during which the show memorably switched to a split-screen format to show both sides of the yelling match.

The clash led to O'Donnell's first exit from the show (she'd later return in 2014 and leave in 2015). She alleged last year on a podcast that the iconic fight was "a setup" and "prepared" by then-producer Bill Geddie (who died in 2023).Hasselbeck — who's set to return to the show to fill in for Alyssa Farah Griffin during her maternity leave — replied in a series of tearful video messages shortly thereafter.

"I love my friends who disagree with me. I tried to call you many times and reach out to you after that, Rosie, and you don’t want repair," Hasselbeck alleged in her posts. "I have to go here because you won’t respond. If you want to get together and talk, let’s do it, come over and swim in my pool, come take a couple laps, come back to America and enjoy your nation. We can have an open free dialogues about what we disagree on. I’ll make you dinner, what do you want to stop the bullying?" (A representative for O'Donnell had no comment on Hasselbeck's words at the time.)

Former conservative cohost Meghan McCain also regularly clashed with her colleagues on the air, and she consistently speaks out about the program now that she's no longer there.

The current panelists have also sparred on the air, including a memorable 2023 exchange during which Griffin called Hostin a "disgrace" for not allowing her to speak in the moment.

"This is not what this show is about. This is Barbara Walters' legacy, let a woman speak!" Griffin said at the time.**

*The View* airs weekdays on ABC.
