She credits her "dream" husband Adam Shulman for supporting her during her incredibly busy year
The couple, who first met at the 2008 Palm Springs International Film Festival, married in 2012 and share two sons
Anne Hathaway has five (!) movies out this year (Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street and Verity) ā and she says that would not be possible without her husband, who "holds it down."
The mom of two gushes about her husband of 13 years, Adam Shulman, to PEOPLE in her cover story for World's Most Beautiful 2026 (on newsstands Friday).
"He supports me completely. This year in particular was unusual. He and I both know that itās probably never going to happen like this again. And the way he stepped up, I mean, in every possible way, heās the most extraordinary person Iāve ever met," she says.

Hathaway, 43, and Shulman, 45, a jewelry designer and film producer, first met at the 2008 Palm Springs International Film Festival and married in 2012. She credits Shulman and their two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, for keeping her grounded.

"Iām so lucky that heās my partner that I spend my life with. If I didnāt know that before this past year, I think I really know it now because with absolutely everything heās just, heās on it. He holds it down," she says. "I hope that doesnāt sound like Iām bragging, but heās a dream partner to me."

Shulman is "a wonderful cook," adds Hathaway. "That's one of the ways that I really value him." She notes he made a "bangin' salmon" recently with rice, purple sweet potatoes and spinach and roasted tomatoes. "It was so good," she says.
Hathaway is grateful that she and Shulman "work well together."

"Itās one thing to have dreams," she adds. "Itās another thing to have somebody who helps you achieve them. I absolutely would not be able to have achieved what Iāve done without my husband."
